It seemed like a good idea at the time

In the beginning...

...there was Karbarz. With his might of his arm alone he created what is known as the Devine's Softball Team. Now, years after his disappearance, it begins again. Amen.

I just got the new stats from Steve-O today. Here's some of the wonderful things I saw:

1) Voltz leads the team in average, slugging, OBP, and OPS. He apparently went back to using his little girly bat.

2) Moose is last on the team in average, slugging, OBP, and OPS. He apparently went back to using his little girly bat.

3) The rook had a good first game, a triple driving in 3 runs.

I don't think we could have played that game much better. Schwing had a good recruiting year. They now have "The Screamer" who yells after he swings - and yes, that was a really long home run he hit. Speedo goggles guy also blazed for an inside the parker. They have to be the team to beat.

Well, let's see how tonight's game goes. If it doesn't rain.

Anything you ever wanted to know about Vin Diesel

I know that I didn't find this website myself, but I feel that I must share it with the rest of this blog...unfortunately no one really blogs that much anymore, so it probably won't be read until next year around March...

Anyway, it is a website giving random facts about Vin Diesel.....all you have to do is hit refresh and it will give you a new fact...be careful I have been doing it for 15 minutes now and cannot stop.

Here it is....Vin Diesel is simply amazing!

One Shining Moment

Well... D-Ew made it! Blue Made it! Shelden's hand made it!

And thus, another NCAA tourney ends. Yeah the bitches down the road won, but at least it was an entertaining game, and hopefully it means we never have to see Felton or McCunts or May again... although, I don't mind Creampuff all that much.

In reality, its probably good that UNC won something. While pummeling them sensless was fun while they sucked, I must admit that this year's one point win over a great UNC team was probably the best singular sporting event I've ever attended. Rivalries can't be one sided. Its like the Yankees and Red Sox... that's not a rivalry... the Yankees own that shit, because the Sox can't win! One winning series in 100 years does not a rivalry make. So, UNC winning is a good thing for the rivalry, and hopefully will drive the Blue Devils next year.

As for this blog, well... its inception was because of basketball, but I don't think it should lay dormant until next year! Onward Fourventeenth!!! Let us continue to post inane things and discuss our exploits!! Let us share them with the world, and let us be assured that even more people will think we are complete idiots!

God Bless The Fourventeenth!

WHOO-HOO WHOO-HOO-HOO!!

* Oh, and we lost all our money too.

Dear God

Wow... did we take it in the you know what on Saturday!

Parlay #1... over when Illinois and UL didn't cover. Yikes...

Player bet Garcia vs. Felton... Garcia shits the bed like a 3 year-old who just met Freddy Krueger. Honestly... why couldn't it have been Pitsnogle vs. Felton. That would've been snogarific!

-Halftime-

What you need to realize here is that we'd lost the parlay after the 1st game. Now, when we bet on it the first time, the over under for the UNC-MSU game was 157. So, we gave The Kid's mom a call, and had her throw some bones down on the over/under for just the UNC-MSU game... you know, so we could make the money back that we'd lost. Only catch... now the over was 159. Right. Seemed like a good bet after 15 beers.

OK, so we were looking shitty most of the way through for the over. However, the over looked like Miss Universe standing next to our Roseanne of a second bet... namely Alan Anderson. Good lord... he shit the bed worse than Garcia. Next year, in the Final Four, I'm betting on the players who I want to lose... it's guarenteed to work out.

Oh... but wait... the evening could be salvaged by my 38th beer and a final POINT in the UNC-MSU game... hit it! NO! Get the board! SHOOT! Off the rim... get the fucking board Davis! Shoot it you red-headed Scalabrine-wanna be! CLANK!

Damn you Paul Davis. Damn you Michigan State. Damn you 158 total points.

Where's my beer? Did we pay the check? Who tipped our switch-hitting waiter? Not me. Let's go to the Fed... nothing can possibly go wrong.

I'm still hung-over! But we are taking the remaining money and riding one last PARLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY into the sunset. Illinos straight up, and the over. C'mon BUCKETS!

What's wrong with us?

Ascension Dunk

An email from the Mulletman moments ago got me thinking about one of the greatest Onion articles of all time. So, since I have wasted most of this week, I decided to look for it on the web since you can find everything on the web. Anyway, without further ado, here is the link for the article

God bless the ascension dunk!

Good lord, we've gone crazy.

Here are the bets for this time around and yes, the final four has made us crazy.

1) 40 buck parlay: UNC/MichSt over 157.5 AND Lou/Ill over 145.5. Buckets, please don't fail us now.

2) 10 buck freeplay: Garcia to score more points than Felton. I think this is pretty much a good call. Garcia averages 16 points per game and has blown up during the tourney (Avg: 21ppg). Felton's average was 12.7ppg and 12.25ppg for the tourney. Hope the averages play our way on Saturday.

3) 25 buck prop: Alan Anderson over 21 points and rebounds. I've posted my theories on this before, so I won't here. Damn, why do these people believe what I say. Now that we have 25 dollars riding on it, I'm starting to doubt myself. Maybe I'm pulling a Kid.

53 or 270? We'll see Saturday night.
